The black notebook

The black notebook was a project in which I made images that thought about contemplation of the void. It was an experimentation managed to the reader. The book-picture doesn't have a sequential coherence, it's composed by fragments, it's pages articulate in isolation mode, random. The technique is unstable, it was worked on regard unconscious and fate situations. In fact, it is visual poetry that flies on the unexpected. I worked with images that I manipulated with the use of technology and traditional media to obtain a graphic-picture-calligraphic as result. The intention was to provoke a fiction, a farse, a spontaneous joke, promote the thought of the otherness, think of what I doubt, on the irony. It transgresses in the sense of the repetition of the game, there is not the annoying of the technique reiteration. The immediate of an experience acts on a drifting journey. Fate and void, wander and weariness. As to the last end, it was to generate a transference with the observer, provoke a reading of signifiers. The project was in continuous process, it takes 4 years make it, and I disposed to give it end in an imprecise moment, and in circumstances which I ignore. By its nature ongoing, I wasn't interested in having a product of exhibition, at last, it was mediatized on the web in the instant of being created. It was spread on the internet, it was distributed for being observed on digital media, out of physic representative spaces of the crackly sphere of the fine arts. During a several time, I observed that the thing that synthesized my work was the act, the time, and its moving. What I was interested in on the route despite the destiny or pieces of art you arrive as product, object, it was the intangible processes, metamorphic dwellings. The creation, substitution, destruction of values and senses created changing and open me to unexplored fields. In a way, it is fleeting because you never return, on the other hand, it remains a footprint or path of certain situations. Tour is wandered, roam, recognize, get lost, return or not return. I was interested in the road in a series of actions as searching, collection, classification, comparison, relation, and discernment of their elements. From then on, through intuition affect the one that watches in a free intention, that untie different messages and detonate multiple proposes for diverse and infinite readings. In terms of its manufacture, it is digital and printed. The printed fine version is a selection of the pages, in large format (1.20x40 cm approx). It is variable its presentation, in some exhibitions I've made posters of 60x90 cm set on the floor for the visitors, on other occasions I mount large format prints on the wall. It depends in all case of the place and the relationships that I establish to the exhibit the notebook. The cause of the large fine printed version is for seeing it in a larger size and you can appreciate it in the fully detailed. Also, because the artist shouldn't die from hunger, I give it a commercial ending for the paintings inhabits in a living space. The digital book exhibits totally in an electronic device mounted on the wall. As well as you can see it on the web in the book format. From the beginning, it was supposed is an ongoing project in perpetual process and without a predetermined end.
